Story Art Tattoo is easily the best shop in Ho Chi Minh City. I have many travel tattoos, and this is my favorite by far. My artist, Nim, went above and beyond to ensure the design and execution were perfect. A word of warning to other travelers: We originally booked elsewhere, but left after finding out that shop used AI-generated images on Instagram to fake their portfolio. I am so glad we found Story Art instead. If you want a clean studio and a genuinely talented artist, ask for Nim!

By far the best tattoo I have! This is my 15th shop I have had work at. Tymon does flawless work & the entire shop is very kind & Welcoming. They have international repeat customers who fly in to have work done here and that says a lot. It was truly the best tattoo experience, and this shop is full of talent! Thanks for a great experience & the AMAZING tattoo!

Amazing job and very professional. We went with my family (5 people) and we all left super pleased. Very cheap prices. The only bad thing for me is that everything took so much time (I wanted a small tattoo and I was there for 3 hours), but it’s because the artist was trying to make the best tattoo for me (editing the one I wanted at the tablet, and making a lot of designs for me to choose). ❤️ if you have time, I recommend this studio for sure. Also they take professional photos of your tattoo at the end.

My friend and I were just walking past the salon and decided to stop in to talk about our project—it was a completely unplanned and random stop. We immediately felt a great vibe with Yenn; she was very attentive, so my friend decided to get her design done right away. As for me, I had mine done the next day. Our projects weren’t the big pieces the salon usually does, but Yenn was on board from the start. We’re really pleased with Yenn’s work—we even did a photo shoot afterward. Everything went smoothly in a very pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend her—you couldn’t ask for better.

Great tattoo studio with friendly staff. I had my design preview and then got inked with Calor. Calor added further ideas during the session and it came out even more amazing than I had planned. He took the extra time to realise the idea at no extra cost. Will be back

I couldn’t recommend this studio enough! Before I found this place, I had gone to another (popular) tattoo studio in HCMC to talk about what I wanted. The artist in that studio immediately said it wasn’t possible to do the design as it would look ‘weird’ and started recommending other totally different designs I didn’t want. Anyway, I’m glad it didn’t work out with the that studio as it meant I was lucky enough to discover Story Art. Everyone I met at Story Art was so friendly and kind. Every step from the design to finish was well-organized. I discussed my idea in-person and they designed a draft on the spot. They then Whatsapp messaged me a final design based on my requests. They were so flexible and added/adjusted the design exactly to my preference. I was tattooed by Nim who is so talented! He was so gentle and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. I’ve never had such a relaxing experience at a tattoo studio!!

I couldn’t be happier with my tattoo. The detail, line work, and overall design came out even better than I imagined. You can tell a lot of care and skill went into every part of it, and the artist really listened to what I wanted and brought it to life perfectly. It healed great and still looks amazing. I genuinely appreciate the time, talent, and professionalism—this is a piece I’ll be proud to wear for life.

Came here with my family and our experience was amazing! Customer service here is so lovely and accommodating, made our experience much better. All our designs were perfect as well. I’ll be back!
